Philadelphia Architecture: A Guide to the City, third edition The long-awaited third edition of Philadelphia Architecture: A Guide to the City, by John Andrew Gallery, prepared for the Center for Architecture and published by Paul Dry Books ( http://pauldrybooks.com/) (both of Philadelphia), should be in bookstores by the end of June. This edition (JKDA also designed the first and second editions, beginning in 1984), 228 pages, includes 45 new color pages of photographs by Wyatt Gallery ( www.wyattgallery.com ) of the city's most important architectural masterpieces, interior and exterior. This edition includes the significant Philadelphia buildings of the 14 years since the second edition was published. In addition to the first two editions of Philadelphia Architecture , JKDA has also designed Philadelphia's Best Buildings in (and near) Philadelphia in 1994 and The Planning of Center City Philadelphia from William Penn to the Present in 2007, by John Andrew Gallery. . |
