JKDA-designed Heart Disease and Cardiovascular Health uses a diagrammatic vocabulary that is flat rather than dimensional, which greatly simplifies the clarity of the blood’s route through the heart and lungs. This view also makes it possible to show the entry of the right pulmonary vein into the left atrium, almost always obscured in dimensional, anatomical views.
