JKDA is in the process of designing (see News) a new Philadelphia rail system map, in the hope that it will be accepted for integration in the transit signing project that JKDA is designing. The transit signing project is creating an overarching symbol for transit and updating and unifying sizes, colors, and nomenclature at the surface and concourse level of all Center City rail, subway, and trolley stations. A description of the rail system will appear in six languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Horean, and Simplified Chinese. The map on the left is the current rail system map. 2007-2008
