Old Philadelphia Congregations Created for a consortium of Philadelphia’s historic religious institutions, these interpretive panels replaced a bicentennial program originally designed by Joel Katz. The post and panel system is made from stock aluminum extrusions and permits simple and inexpensive replacement of the panels. The back of each panel displays a uniform explanation of the organization and a map of affiliated sites. The program has been expanded to include Fairmount Park houses, the Society Hill Civic Association (pictured), and other sites.
